How Baulit AI Works
Baulit uses a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. You provide your own Anthropic API key, and Baulit encrypts it with AES-256-GCM before storing it. Your key is never shared, never marked up, and you pay Anthropic directly at their published rates. This keeps you in full control of your AI costs.
Every AI feature in Baulit follows one governing principle: the AI drafts, the builder decides. The AI generates suggestions, text, and analysis, but nothing is applied to your project until you review it and click to confirm. You always have the final say.
Tier availability: AI features are available on Pro and Enterprise plans with your own Anthropic API key. There are no Baulit-imposed call quotas — you pay Anthropic directly based on your usage. Free-tier accounts cannot access AI features. See

Your API key is encrypted using AES-256-GCM before it touches the database. Baulit never logs your key in plaintext, never shares it with third parties, and never adds a markup to your Anthropic usage. All AI processing happens through Anthropic's API using your own account.
A global kill switch allows Baulit administrators to disable all AI features instantly if needed. Per-user hourly rate limits provide an additional safety net against runaway usage.
