Settings: Complete Guide

The Settings screen is your control panel for everything outside of day-to-day project work. You can reach it from the Dashboard menu (gear icon) or by pressing the Settings link in the navigation.

Settings is organized into seven tabs. This guide walks through each one so you know exactly what every option does.

Billing Tab

The Billing tab shows your current subscription and usage at a glance.

Info: Billing is managed entirely through Stripe. Baulit does not store your credit card information.

For a detailed comparison of what each tier includes, see Subscription Tiers. For step-by-step upgrade instructions, see Billing & Upgrades.

Company Tab

The Company tab stores your business information. This data appears on change orders, exported reports, and printed documents.

Tip: A square logo works best. Baulit displays it at a fixed height and scales the width proportionally.

Features Tab

The Features tab controls which optional features are visible in the app. Each feature has a toggle switch. Turn off features you do not use to simplify your interface.

Baulit includes 11 feature toggles:

Note: Some features are only available on Pro or Enterprise tiers. If you are on the Free plan, those toggles will show a lock icon. Upgrade to unlock them.

Turning off a feature does not delete any data. It only hides the related UI elements. Turn the feature back on and everything reappears exactly as you left it.

Templates Tab

The Templates tab manages your saved project templates. Templates are pre-built task lists that you can apply when creating a new project.

Data Tab

The Data tab handles import, export, and app information.

Tip: Export a backup before making major changes to your project structure. It takes seconds and gives you a safety net.

Account Tab

The Account tab manages your personal profile and AI integration.

Legal Tab

The Legal tab provides links to all of Baulit's legal documents. These are hosted by Termly and open in a new browser tab.
