Baulit offers three subscription tiers designed to grow with your business. Start free, and upgrade when you need more projects, team members, storage, or AI capabilities.

How the Seat Model Works
Baulit uses a simple seat model. There are four roles, and only two of them count as paid seats:
- Admin — the account owner. Always counts as a paid seat.
- Manager — full project access. Each manager counts as a paid seat against your tier limit.
- Contractor — sees only their assigned tasks. Free and unlimited on every tier.
- Stakeholder — read-only progress view. Free and unlimited on every tier.
If you need more manager seats than your tier includes, you can add them for $19 per month each. For example, a Pro account with 5 managers would pay $79 + (2 extra seats x $19) = $117 per month.
Annual Billing Discount
Choosing annual billing saves approximately 20% compared to paying monthly:
- Pro Annual — $758 per year instead of $948 ($79 x 12). You save $190.
- Enterprise Annual — $1,428 per year instead of $1,788 ($149 x 12). You save $360.

Feature Gating on Free Accounts
On the Free plan, features that require a Pro or Enterprise subscription show a lock icon next to their toggle in Settings. Clicking a locked feature opens an upgrade prompt explaining what the feature does and which tier unlocks it.
No data is lost when you are on the Free tier. If you previously had a Pro account and downgraded, your data remains intact. The features are simply hidden until you upgrade again.
Choosing the Right Tier
Here is a quick guide based on common scenarios:
- Solo builder with 1–2 active projects — Free tier covers your needs. Upgrade when you need AI tools or more projects.
- Small team running multiple jobs — Pro gives you 25 projects, 3 manager seats, and AI tools for daily log drafting and template generation.
- Growing company with a large portfolio — Enterprise removes project limits, gives you 10 manager seats, 100 GB storage, and unlimited AI features.
