Portfolio Report
The Portfolio Report is a printable, cross-project summary that gives you a snapshot of your entire building operation on a single page. It is designed for owner meetings, bank draw reviews, and weekly management check-ins where you need to show progress and budget status across all active projects.
What the Report Shows
The Portfolio Report lists every project with key metrics organized in a clean, scannable layout:
- Project name and project type (New Construction, Remodel, Addition, etc.)
- Start date and target completion date
- Completion percentage with a visual progress bar
- Budget utilization — total budget, amount spent, amount remaining
- Task summary — total tasks, completed, in progress, overdue
Projects are listed in the same order as your Dashboard, so the sort option you choose on the Dashboard carries through to the report.
Accessing the Portfolio Report
You can open the report from two places:
- Reports Hub: Navigate to Reports Hub and click Portfolio Report.
- Dashboard tiles: Click the portfolio summary tile on the Dashboard Insights tab to open the report directly.
Printing and PDF Export
The Portfolio Report is optimized for printing. Baulit uses your browser's native print functionality — no special software or plugins required.
Use Cases
Weekly management meetings
Print the Portfolio Report at the start of each week. Walk through each project in order, reviewing progress and budget status. The visual progress bars make it easy to spot projects that have stalled or are burning through budget faster than expected.
Bank draw presentations
When a lender wants to see the status of multiple properties, the Portfolio Report gives them a professional summary without exposing detailed task-level data. Pair it with the Budget Reports for projects where the bank needs cost-level detail.
Investor or partner updates
For builders working with investors or development partners, the Portfolio Report provides a clear, no-nonsense status update that can be emailed as a PDF. It shows progress and budget without requiring the recipient to log in to Baulit.
What the Report Does Not Include
The Portfolio Report is intentionally high-level. For deeper analysis, use the specialized reports:
- Task-level cost detail: See Budget Reports
- Overdue and blocked tasks: See Overdue & Insurance Reports
- Full project documentation: See Documentation Export
