App Is Stuck on the Loading Screen

Symptom: Baulit shows a loading spinner that never resolves, or the screen stays blank after login.

Cause: This is usually caused by stale session data stored in your browser.

Fix:

Open your browser's developer tools (Cmd+Option+I on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+I on Windows).
Go to the Application tab (Chrome) or Storage tab (Firefox).
Find Session Storage in the left panel and click on the app.baulit.com entry.
Click Clear All to remove stale session data.
Reload the page. You may need to log in again.
Quick alternative: Open the app in a private/incognito window. If it works there, the issue is definitely stale browser data. Clear session storage in your normal browser to fix it permanently.

File Upload Fails

Symptom: You try to upload a file and get an error message, or the upload stalls and never completes.

Possible causes and fixes:

Weather Data Not Showing

Symptom: The calendar, daily logs, or project overview do not display weather information.

Cause: Weather data requires a geocodable project address. Without an address, Baulit cannot determine the location to fetch weather for.

Fix: Open your project details and enter a complete street address including city, state, and ZIP code. Weather data should appear within a few seconds of saving the address.

Gantt Chart Shows No Dates

Symptom: The Gantt chart displays tasks but they have no date positioning — everything is stacked at the left edge or shows no bars.

Cause: The CPM engine needs a project start date and task durations to calculate dates. Without these inputs, there is nothing to schedule.

Fix:

Make sure your project has a start date set in the project details.
Make sure your tasks have durations entered in working days. Tasks with zero or blank durations cannot be scheduled.
Optionally, add predecessor relationships using the Dependency Wizard to sequence tasks correctly.

AI Features Not Working

Symptom: AI buttons are grayed out, or clicking them returns an error.

Possible causes and fixes:

Page Looks Stale After an Update

Symptom: After Baulit deploys an update, the app looks or behaves differently than expected, or you see visual glitches.

Fix: Perform a hard refresh to clear your browser's cached assets:

This forces your browser to re-download all CSS, JavaScript, and image files. The hard refresh resolves most post-deploy display issues.

Email Notifications Not Arriving

Symptom: You are not receiving email notifications for team invitations, email change confirmations, or password resets.
